How Many Hours of ABA Therapy Are Needed?

What’s the Difference Between a BCBA, RBT, and BT?
A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) is a master’s-level professional who designs, oversees, and modifies treatment plans to ensure effective therapy. An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a certified specialist who works directly with clients, applying ABA techniques under a BCBA’s supervision. A BT (Behavior Technician) has similar responsibilities to an RBT but may not yet hold certification. They assist in therapy sessions and follow treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
How Can I Support My Child’s ABA Therapy at Home?
Parents are essential in extending ABA strategies beyond therapy. Your BCBA provides training to help you apply effective techniques at home. Consistently using these strategies in daily routines reinforces learning and supports long-term behavioral growth.
How Do I Know if ABA Therapy Is Right for My Child?
ABA therapy supports children with autism who face challenges with problem behaviors, daily tasks, or learning new skills. If your child needs help in these areas, ABA could be a great option. Reach out to our team to explore how we can support your child’s growth.
