The 4-Step Process for In-Home Aba Therapy in Perry Hall
The role of parents and caregivers in the therapy process:
Assessment
Start by meeting with your BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) to discuss your child’s goals. The BCBA will observe your child’s behavior, assess their skills, and identify any challenges they may face.
Development
The second step is for your BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) to create a treatment plan tailored to your child’s and family’s goals. They will collaborate with the therapy team and insurance provider to ensure the most effective treatment is prescribed for your child’s needs.
Therapy
Therapy begins! You and your child will work closely with the therapy team on the goals developed with the BCBA. Regular check-ins will ensure progress is being made. You will also learn the strategies your child is using to support their development.
Monitoring
Lastly, we continuously monitor your child’s progress. As part of our routine, we review the data and adjust the plan to meet your child’s evolving needs, ensuring ongoing growth and success.

Services are great, Jack is progressing really well, We love his therapist and BCBA, we love sending him to STEPS! Jack knows everyone’s names and happy to see them, which shows they are interacting with him even when they don’t have to. Jack is so much more social with peers and adults.
a thrilled dad
Son of 12 year old with ASD
Communication has improved overall, manding and prompts, mornings used to be extremely tiring because my daughter wasn’t able to communicate, now learning simple yes/no open/close “lets go” she is able to communicate, before she would just have tantrums, STEPS changed her morning routine and taken away so much stress, bcba is great with communication!
