Broad, Meaningful Impact

ABA therapy can address a wide range of challenges, including tantrums, repetitive behaviors, communication, social skills, self-control, independence, flexibility, memory, eating habits, and more — helping your child thrive in all areas of daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started is easy — simply call our intake specialist to complete your paperwork and schedule an initial appointment with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), typically within 45 days. Your BCBA will then develop a personalized treatment plan, review it with your family, and submit it to your insurance provider. Once approved, your child’s services can begin. From that first call to the first session, the process usually takes around four months.

We support children and young adults from as early as age 2 all the way through 21 — meeting families wherever they are on their journey.

  1. Often, yes! For children over the age of 5, our BCBAs can step into the school setting to work directly with your child, offer guidance around behavioral challenges, and attend IEP meetings and conferences. Keep in mind that private schools are generally more flexible with outside providers, while public schools may have some limitations.
  2. Looking for additional support? We also offer advocacy services for an out-of-pocket fee — contact our intake coordinator to learn more.
Coverage depends on your specific plan. Medicaid typically covers ABA therapy in full, while commercial insurance plans may include copays or some out-of-pocket expenses. Either way, our team is here to help you navigate your benefits and find the best path forward for your family — just give us a call!

ABA therapy is designed to help individuals build skills and behaviors that genuinely improve their quality of life. Through evidence-based techniques and personalized interventions, ABA works to teach new skills, strengthen positive behaviors, and reduce those that may get in the way of daily functioning.

While ABA is most widely known for supporting individuals with autism and other developmental disorders, its principles extend far beyond — proving effective across education, mental health, and organizational behavior as well.

Yes, and in more ways than you might expect! We run social skills groups every night of the week for clients over 5 who are currently receiving ABA therapy. Children enrolled in our Early STEPS program experience a rich mix of individual therapy, group play, and group activities tailored to their developmental level.

For our older clients, we organize community outings where they can connect with peers and practice age-appropriate skills in a fun, real-world setting.

At its core, ABA therapy is a scientifically grounded approach to understanding how people learn and why they behave the way they do. For individuals with autism, it offers a structured yet personalized path to building meaningful skills, gaining confidence, and reducing behaviors that may stand in the way of daily life.

Absolutely. All ABA professionals are held to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code — a rigorous set of standards that places your child’s dignity, individual needs, and family collaboration at the forefront of care. Ethical ABA relies on positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to encourage growth and independence, and is supported by decades of research demonstrating its effectiveness.

Ongoing training, proper oversight, and continuous evaluation ensure that these standards are not just met — but maintained at every level of care.

If your child has autism and faces challenges with behavior, daily routines, or picking up new skills, ABA therapy may be exactly what they need. Every child is different, and our team is here to help you explore whether it’s the right fit — don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Your child’s team is made up of three key roles working closely together. The BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) leads the way — designing and overseeing a personalized treatment plan tailored to your child’s unique needs. The RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) and BT (Behavior Technician) work directly with your child to carry that plan out, always under the BCBA’s supervision. The main difference between the two is that a BT is still in the process of earning their RBT certification.
Every child’s journey looks a little different, and therapy hours are recommended accordingly. As a general guide, school-aged children receive around 15 hours per week, with 10 hours being the minimum. Children in our Early STEPS early intervention program typically receive up to 30 hours per week, giving them the intensive support they need during those crucial early years of development.
Your role as a parent is one of the most powerful parts of your child’s progress! Through dedicated parent training sessions, your BCBA will walk you through the tools and strategies that bring ABA to life at home — helping you feel confident in supporting your child and managing challenging behaviors across all the different settings of daily life.
